Premium headphones at a very un-premium price.
I came to know JLab after buying their fantastic JLab Crasher portable bluetooth speaker, and finding it to be better than the Jawbone Jambox (at a fraction of the cost!).
These stylish headphones look like they should cost significantly more, but as of this writing, they are 12 dollars and a quarter, or around the cost of lunch in New York City. Expecting any sort of quality for that sort of money is foolish, but JLab somehow manages to deliver. The sound quality is on par with headphones that cost 3 or 4 times more, as is the build quality. They are somewhat biased toward the low end, so if you prefer less bass, you may want to adjust the EQ on your device accordingly. Some users report discomfort after long periods of use, but I did not experience this myself.
And even though these are almost disposable at this price, you can feel secure about your purchase. When something goes wrong, JLab’s exceptional customer service goes above and beyond to make sure problems are resolved. I did not have any issues with these headphones, but in the past, when my Crasher portable speaker was giving me some trouble, JLab quickly provided a gift certificate for the value of a brand new one.
These cheap headphones are a great value at this price point, and are an ideal choice for commuters or as gifts this holiday season.
